Writer/director Mick Garris, who helmed the TV mini-series The Stand and The Shining, has been given the green light to adapt Stephen King's Riding the Bullet into a feature film.
"As of this past Tuesday," Garris tells Fangoria, "we got the go-ahead for 'Bullet'. We'll be shooting in Vancouver in November. We're working out the cast and crew details now; some of them are set, but until their deals are made, I can't release the information."
The story is about a college student who hitchhikes across Maine to visit his hospitalized mother and gets more than he bargains for during his rides.
